Frank Palmer

Frank is the President of Bunker Hill Insurance Company. He also serves as Vice President, Auto Product, for Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation with responsibility for product management, pricing and analysis. He held a variety of research and Product and Liability roles with Progressive Insurance, and was head of Quantitative Analytics responsible for analytics for all rate plans and all lines with Allstate Insurance.  He is a graduate of Wittenberg University and received a Masters in Economics from University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Chris Olie

Chris is the Chairman of Bunker Hill Insurance Company. He also serves as the President of Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation, the fifth largest writer of private passenger automobile insurance in Massachusetts. Chris also oversees Plymouth Rock Assurance in Connecticut, Pilgrim Insurance Company in Massachusetts and Mt. Washington Assurance Corporation in New Hampshire.

Previously, Chris was an executive at Progressive Insurance with 20 years of property and casualty experience including Product and Liability Management, Business Systems, and Product and Process Management. He is a graduate of Cornell University and received his MBA from Pennsylvania State University. He is married and the father of two daughters.

Hal R. Belodoff

Hal is the President and Chief Operating Officer of The Plymouth Rock Company. He is Chairman of Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation and serves as Chairman of several other companies within the Plymouth Rock group. Hal joined the Plymouth Rock Group of Companies in 1991 and was responsible for expanding our business into New Jersey through our affiliate, Plymouth Rock Management Company of New Jersey (formerly Palisades Safety and Insurance Management Company).

Previously, Hal was Deputy Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Medical Security and was responsible for implementing several new health programs for the uninsured. He has held executive positions with U.S. Healthcare, Inc., a major national HMO company, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Cornell University and Boston University School of Law. Hal also serves as a trustee of Lesley University. He is married and is the father of two sons.

James M. Stone

Jim is the founder, Chairman and CEO of the Plymouth Rock Company. Jim began his career by teaching economics, after earning a Ph.D. in economics at Harvard. He served as Massachusetts Insurance Commissioner from 1975 to 1979 and then as Chairman and Commissioner of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission for four years. On his return from Washington in the early 80's, he founded Plymouth Rock.

Jim is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Boston Globe, and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of two non-profit organizations, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and Management Sciences for Health. Jim has served as an advisor to governments in three developing countries, and he has authored a book and numerous articles on insurance and finance. He is married and the father of teenage twins.
